As co-founder of the WDG, Trent is responsible for the organization, management and communication of the group. Trent is also director of the Office of Information Services at the University of Rhode Island.
Trent has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology development, and has an English Professor's background from the University of Rhode Island. Collectively, he has 25 years of experience in exploring and utilizing advancements in technology within education.
Lisa Chen
University Webmaster
As University Webmaster, Lisa identifies, plans, leads, implements and maintains high-priority, University-wide, web-projects and services. She also encourages cross-departmental involvement in these projects, and ensures that departments and units can support and maintain the resulting technologies or web-sites.
Lisa chairs the URI Web Strategies and Planning Group as well as the campus Web Management Team. By introducing web policies, guidelines, procedures and templates to all campuses, Lisa aims to promote a consistent "look and feel and accessibility of all URI Web pages.
