Who We Are

The URI Web Development Group (WDG) is an Information and Instructional Technology Service (IITS) fee-based unit. The group is co-lead by Trent Batson, Director of IITS and Lisa Chen, the University Webmaster.

Some of the best URI student developers work for the WDG. The Department of Computer Science and Statistics has helped enormously by partnering with us for internships and referrals. If you would like to view some examples of our work, please see our projects page or the showcase on the right.

What We Do

We are a Web design and creation service for the URI campus and the State of Rhode Island. We use a variety of technologies to create Web sites including PHP, MySQL, HTML, XHTML, CSS, Javascript and Flash.
